Slipstitches on Ravelry.
Slipstitches are a group of friends, and friends of friends, and people we’ve met that wanted to get together and learn how to crochet. We started meeting because a few coworker friends of mine wanted to learn how to crochet, so we set up a date and got hooked.
Our first meeting was at a Barnes N Noble, which is always super-busy! We ended up staying there for several hours and decided that we should meet somewhere more comfy. So we migrated our meetings to the home.
Since our inception, we have taught 11 people how to crochet. That may not be a lot, but I’m excited to get so many people started on this very therapeutic craft.
Our Yarn Overs have been a great time of talking, crafting and relaxing with friends. If you are interested in attending one of our meetings, or learning how to crochet, please feel free to contact me. By the way, a Yarn Over is what we call it when a group of us get together to crochet, knit, talk and just have a good time together.

Welcome to the group! I suppose I should have explained that a little bit more. A Yarn Over is when we Slipstitches get together at someone’s house (or other place) to crochet, talk, and have fun. If you are in the Riverside, CA area we would love to have you come to one!
